We can all admit that we appreciate a good looking man. Even a good looking woman.  Our celebrity crush or our “boyfriend” who works at the local coffee shop that we’ve never talked to are prime examples of “eye candy.” They are fun to look at and dream about but heaven forbid we have ever have to talk to them because we’d probably forget how to speak!

We LOVE knowing things that other people don’t.  Whether it’s a great shopping sale, a surprise party, or your best friend’s new crush, we love it and can’t get enough!  One of the best secrets is when we know about a “secret menu” at a restaurant.  It is especially great when we are out with a group of friends and order something "secret" and they all exclaim “What?! I didn’t know they had that!”  It might not be a secret anymore but you had your rush and your “I’m an insider” moment which is always fun!

Getting compliments from people you know is always a great self esteem booster and can brighten up our day instantly.  However, getting a compliment from a stranger can be even more impactful.  They don’t know you, probably won’t ever see you again, and have no reason to talk to you other than to tell you something they like about you.  Think about the times where you have complimented a stranger.  It was because you really genuinely liked something about them and felt they absolutely had to know right?  Those are the compliments that can change your attitude and outlook and allow you to have an incredible day!

We love getting all done up to go out-hair, nails, make-up, outfit choices…all fabulous! Those false eyelashes though, they can really amp up your look instantly!  Lashes add a little bit of drama and really open up the eyes.  Applying them though, can be a whole other story. The glue, the placement, the drying; it can be a little daunting to those of us who haven’t attempted it before.  Here is a great video demonstration from Pixiwoo that can help!

Do you have those friends you only see or talk to every couple months but when you pick up it feels like no time has passed at all?  They are the best!  Life gets busy and more hectic as we get older and catching up with good friends can become difficult to do.  But when it happens, boy oh boy, it is just refreshing!  Chats about  guys, crying kids, career choices and not enough time to just breathe are so much more comforting when we realize we are not alone.  It is amazing that we can feel so connected to people even if we don’t see or talk to them every day.  Pamper Me Fabulous is always a great way to just chat and relax with your best girls! Just knowing you have a friend you can catch up with anytime is one of the greatest feelings a girl can have!

The 100 calorie snack is a great idea in theory; eat a pre-measured snack and feel satisfied.  However, so much of the time, we eat one pack and think “oh that will hardly hold me over until my next meal.”  And at that point we eat maybe one to two more of those little snack packs and call it a meal.  The most wonderful thing happens when we eat just one pack and feel fulfilled.  It is almost like we are surprised by it, like a “ha I showed you little bag!" It’s exciting and puts a little bit more pep in our step during the day!
